October News

So... September was all about new challenges... October is all about maintaining and fulfilling them... This can be tricky as the weather gets colder and the Summer energy dwindles BUT NOW is the time to get things rolling... So many people think 'Ill start that in January', mais, this is not the right attitude.. get things going now so that you are set and rolling along in January...

For me? Well Ive just finished the fab run of MEDEA which was amazing fun. On day 4 we toured up to Oundle - a beautiful little quaint village near Peterborough that I recommend all to visit - and performed in their awesome converted church so the stage had a high altar ceiling and acoustics we only usually wish for... The rest of the run was equally grand and now we all have post show blues. It really has made me realise just how much I love performing in the theatre world...

Our PR With Panache course is going well and will soon be starting at Pinewood Studios as well as Riverside Studios. for more info please email info@withpanache.co.uk

The Sunflowers are going guns blazing and have gigs lined up at The Cavendish and at the Troubadour in October then gigs in November too PLUS we are teaming up with Rosies Rainbow Fund and will be organising some brilliant large scale charity events for you to come along to! More info to follow soon...

This evening I am meeting up with Marlow FM as I have been asked to be the new music presenter there so thats great and Im looking forward to hopefully adding to the station...

So, as well as my usual TV presenting, Im a busy bunny as always and looking forward to a few days off this month to be honest!!

I hope you are all well. KIT :-)

The fight between the social networking sites....

LinkedIn is the business meeting, Facebook is the hallway conversation and Twitter is the cocktail party. - Scott Monty

So it looks like FACEBOOK is getting a run for its money with the addition of Google+ now... I thought LinkedIn would take over but not quite yet... I still see LI as my 'business social network' which has a place too but there - for the time being - does seem to be a crossover of the two on Google+... Twitter Im still reserving judgement on because i still see that as an even bigger waste of time really than all the rest... What are your thoughts?? The list is never ending and ever growing... ASW still has its place as the Tatler of the social networking with people not quite willing to leave the prestige of the 'look how rich I am' site and join the masses on the slightly lesser poncey Facebook world; myspace is pretty much done now; beebo... well does ANYONE actually use that yet and as for Friends ReUnited...?? So is Google+ going to replace FB or do we just add it to our list?

Im thinking a list of three... FB, LI and now Google+... but given that I do also have a slightly poncy side I cant quite let go of my ASW roots - which to all extents and purposes was my baby given that it started before myspace and I never converted then... so maybe a list of four.... but thats not even including the music sites and they tick a whole range of different boxes....

Anyway... there are more things to worry about in the world I know this of course... just intrigued to know your thoughts.... :-)
